Option 1:

Request a CapTel phone
at no cost

Qualified users can get a CapTel phone at no cost through the Mississippi Relay Equipment Distribution Program (MREDP).

In order to receive free use of the device, an applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Mississippi state resident
  • Have a hearing loss (40 decibels or greater) as certified by a licensed physician, speech-language pathologist, or other qualified professionals

Each applicant must complete the MREDP and fully answer all questions in order to be considered for the Equipment Distribution Program.

Option 2:

Request an Internet-based
CapTel phone at no cost

Get an internet-based CapTel phone at no cost with a third party certification form signed by your hearing health care professional (doctor, hearing aid dispenser or audiologist).

The internet-based CapTel models are: 840i, 880i and 2400i.

Option 3:

Purchase a CapTel phone

Mississippi residents who do not qualify for a CapTel phone through the Mississippi Relay Equipment Distribution Program may purchase any model of CapTel phone.
