Web & Mobile Apps For Property Inventory System

A simple and quick web based system and mobile apps for iPhone and Android that letting agents can use to manage the entire process of inventory checks.

  • UK Tenant Data operates across the UK specializing in tenant profiling and referencing, legal and insurance services for commercial and residential property landlords.
  • The client was in need of a web and mobile solution to create property inventory software that would save Letting Agents time and money by replacing the typical manually typed up inventory reports
  • Develop a server side application along with a mobile application for the iPhone and Android platforms.
  • Create a simple and easy to use iPhone and Android app that is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Utilize the internal features of the built in cameras on the iPhone and Android devices to quickly take photos and make annotation
  • Created mimo, a simple and quick system that agents can use to manage the entire process of inventory checks. A web based application along with a completely native mobile version for both iPhone and Android smartphones were created to provide agents with a solution that works when they are in the office and while they are in the field.
  • mimo contains a comprehensive database of fixtures and fittings database eliminating the need for agents to type these items and descriptions. It also allows agents to customize all indexing, including room types, room items and associated conditions.
  • Agents were provided with the facility to add their own property types, rooms, items and conditions to the index system, add comments and recommendations
  • With mimoagents can work in either an online or offline mode. Data getssynchronized automatically once agents are online.
  • Agents can take photos using their phones, add comments to the images and attach to their reports.
  • Agents no longer need to type up their inventory reports. They are able to create professional branded looking reports at any stage of tenancy which can be viewed in HMTL or PDF format, emailed to tenants, and are ready to be reviewed and signed.
  • Utilized Google Maps to plot property locations and list on inventory reports as well for mapping property location on the agent’s web interface to allow agents to identify properties that are due for inspections on the color coded heat map.
  • Agents can share their finished reports with clients and tenants via email so that disputes can be kept to a minimum.
  • The finished solution also sends out automated tenant reminders for interim and check out reports
