CUSTOMER MAPPING iPHONE & ANDROID APP – ANDROID

Pirtek is a customer mapping app for the iPhone and Android platforms for employees to locate themselves on a map and see a list of clients located in the surrounding nearby areas.

  • PirtekUSA is a 30+ year old fluid transfer solutions company with locations throughout the world.
  • The client was in need of a customer mapping app for the iPhone and Android platforms.
  • Client needed a way for its employees to locate themselves on a map and see a list of clients located in the surrounding nearby areas
  • The entire portal needed to be built from the ground up using the latest technologies and a scalable framework for future enhancements and most of all be very simple and easy to use.
  • Develop a server side application along with a mobile application for the IPhone and Android platforms.
  • Create an easy to use iPhone and Android app with a fast loading time and user friendly GUI.
  • The final solution for the iPhone and Android server application provided the admin with the functionalities for Customer Management, Employee Management, Branch Management, Assigning Customers and Employees to Branches as well as the facility to bulk import and export customer data
  • On the mobile site for the iPhone and Android versions, the app allows PirtekUSA employee to geo-locate where they are on a map, which then displays markers representing PirtekUSA customers in the area. Rolling over these markers will display relevant information for the particular customer, such as their address and phone number.
  • The Application starts with login screen, once the application validates login credentials entered by employee it will redirect to Google Map screen. Employees are assigned to PirtekUSA branches and they can have access to all customers related with same branch where they work.
  • Guest users to have access of this application; however they are not required to login to Application. Once guest users enter the application they can see all PirtekUSA branches located on Google Map from same screen they can view address info and send email or call to selected PirtekUSA branch.
  • Employees can also filter the customers’ locations on both the iPhone and Android apps by entering Miles.
