Web based solution to provide English tutoring classes for the American and European market.

Client located in France provides English tutoring classes for the American and European market.
Client needed a B2C online portal that was simple and easy to use and update.
The site needed to focus on 3 sets of users, students, tutors and the site administrator.

Provide an easy to use CMS for the site administrator to edit the site content.
Design an easy to view layout of the available tutors, their profiles and class schedules for booking.
Create an easy to use enrollment form for users to sign up for classes.
Develop an effortless payment process for students to pay for the classes.
Build a straightforward tutor module that will allow the tutors to login and manage their profiles, classes and schedules.

The site admin was provided with an easy to use section that allowed them to manage account, view reports, create blogs and news update for the site, create membership packages, upload videos, create discussion forums, mailing lists and much more.
The site was integrated with Joomla which allowed the admin to update the site’s content.
The admin was also provided with the facility to assign tutors for each individual class.
The tutors were provided with the facility to manage their own profile including changing the picture and text as well as view assigned classes and get reminders of the classes they are scheduled to tutor.
Tutors were also provided with the facility to see the registered students for a individual class and be able to send messages to them and take their attendance for attending the online class.
Visitors to the site can search for a tutor and see their class schedule or search class and view the linked tutor and pay for the desired class online.
Web usability guidelines were strictly followed during development and the interface was made easily navigable through judicious use of CSS and HTML controls.
The entire framework was kept highly scalable in order to provide adaptability & ease while incorporating new features.
