Central web based database driven system to fully store and organize all its past, current and future student records.

  • The university is a private, Catholic institution with a history of academic excellence. Located in Miami, Florida, the University enrolls over 2,700 full-time undergraduate students and 3,700 graduate students.
  • Much of the client’s database for its students comprised of various electronic formats and paper forms.
  • The client was in need of a central web based database driven system to fully store and organize all its past, current and future student records.
  • Create a user-friendly paperless database system that would be able to house unlimited student records and data.
  • Build a system that was easily updatable by any of the authorized users.
  • Provide the facility to print various reports when needed.
  • Create a multi-tier system with different user levels
  • The finished solution provided the University with a User Management section that provides access rights to individuals to login, view data and generate and pull reports.
  • A whole new user interface design has been created with the look and feel of the application. The new designs are very user friendly and allow data to be displayed in an easy to read format.
  • Provided the database administrator with the facility to have full rights and control of the settings and access to the database.
  • Created a student data module which allows users to add/edit/delete student records
  • Built a full reporting section that allows users to generate any reports needed in PDF format. In addition, provided the facility to export any tabular data as an Excel file from the system.
