  • A large insurance broker in Brazil deals with various types of insurance i.e. auto, health, corporate etc. It also has presence in several other countries in Europe as well.
  • The customer wanted to replace their existing clunky sales processes and create a centralized, automated and flexible system.
  • It should allow the marketing team to enter the leads, assign to sales team members, and track the progress of each lead until the lead is converted as an opportunity/customer.
  • The finished solution need to provide real-time reporting capabilities.
  • SugarCRM has been chosen as the primary application around which other applications would be built including this Sales Process Automation system.
  • Client was able to have all customer and sales data located in one centralized system.
  • With SugarCRM the sales team has been able identify opportunities for cross-selling which has led to improved customer retention and
  • It provided a central place for the marketing and sales team to manage the leads until those are closed.
  • Once the lead is posted, it is assigned to a sales person who then follows up with it.
  • All the meetings, calls, ‘notes’ are recorded in the system and system also sends out reminders for the meeting/calls.
  • Each sales person now has more information readily available. Information such as size of the deal, detailed information on the deal is entered as opportunity. The opportunity is then either won or lost based on the result of the sales efforts.
  • All of this information is used in providing the reports to the sales managers/higher management.
