No special equipment is needed!
This relay service is available in English-to-English, Spanish-to-Spanish, English-to-Spanish and French-to-French.
The Customer Profile allows you to store your relay call preferences that helps speed up call processing.
How does Speech-to-Speech (STS) work?
Just dial 711 (or 877-335-7274 for STS) and ask for a Speech-to-Speech relay operator.
Provide the area code and telephone number of the person you wish to call. The relay operator will dial the number and connect you to the other party.
You speak on your phone directly to the other party.
The relay operator repeats your spoken words to the other party as needed for clarity.
The other party talks directly you.
My Email Set Up
This feature makes call set-up a piece of cake for you.
In order to speed up the set-up of the call, Delaware Relay now offers My Email Set Up. Now, you can e-mail call instructions or information 2 to 24 hours prior to the call. This can include information such as the number to be dialed, the name of the person being called, any special instructions and the nature of the call, or anything that makes it easier for you to complete the call.
