The scam of Raphaël Michel has amounted to about 66 million bottles of falsely labeled Côtes du Rhône wines. Police estimate the volume of this scam makes about 15% of the total output of wines in the area in recent vintages to be counterfeit. Read more about it

A company in Taiwan was found to be bottling fake wines and labeling as fine Argentine wines. They had 160,000 litres of unfinished "wines" and 18,000 finished bottles of wine. Read more about it here.
