Crime rings are turning away from drugs and weapons for food and wine frauds, as they are lucrative with a low chance of risk. With estimates of 50% of counterfeit wines in China, wine producers, especially in Australia, are frightened for their brands. Read more about it

Chinese website Alibaba sued a maker of fake liquor for 123,000. Alibaba has actively pursuing these counterfeiters to protect the authentic products on their sites. Read more about it here.

Aleksandr Iugov was sentenced to four years in prison for selling $2Million worth of fake DRC Romanee-Conti from 2012 to 2014. Read more about it here.
