iPHONE AND ANDROID APP FOR HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL ATHLETES – iPHONE, ANDROID

Mobile apps for iPhone and Android smartphones provided an outlet for high school basketball players and fans to unite and communicate with each other while they are on the go.

  • HoopBeatz, a young start up from North Carolina wanted to create a fun and exciting way for high school basketball athletes to promote their abilities and personalities to other athletes and fans on their iPhone and Android smartphones.
  • Build an iPhone and Android smartphone app that fans can use to follow and stay connected to their favorite high school athlete and where athletes can publish their profiles.
  • Create a user experience that is fun, exciting and an app that is easy to use and simplifies the connection process for high school basketball fans and their favorite high school basketball athletes.
  • Provide an easy to use administrative backend for the admin to easily add questions and other related content, and flag inappropriate postings.
  • The finished HoopBeatz mobile app for iPhone and Android smartphones provided an outlet for high school basketball players and fans to unite and communicate with each other while they are on the go.

    Fans are able to:

    • Follow their favorite athletes.
    • Interact with their hometown superstar or any player across the nation.
    • Upload and tag videos and pictures of their favorite athletes from their phone or computer.
    • Communicate and interact with other players and fans about high school, NCAA, and NBA basketball

      • Athletes/Players are able to:

    • Create a custom profile to keep their fans and other athletes up-to-date with their game and market their athletic abilities and personalities to the entire world of high school basketball.
    • Upload and tag videos and pictures to show off their skills and personalities.
    • Communicate and interact with other players and fans about high school, NCAA, and NBA basketball.
    • Ability to ask other athletes and fans their opinion on basketball related questions.
  • Integration of Flurry analytics for Client to understand the apps usage.

  • The HoopBeatz mobile app was created with as much flexibility and automation as possible to eliminate the need for an administrator to be part of every process. However, we do know that at times one is needed. An administrative section was created to provide the app’s admin with the ability to:
  • Post questions and other related information into the system .
  • Read, write, and delete any information that a fan or player posts to the system as well as any information uploaded by the administrator for registration.
  • Ability to flag the content and remove users from.
