Client located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a full service salon and spa offering high end hair styling services, hair and skincare products and consultation.
The Client was feeling a bit stifled with its current ecommerce platform. They recognized the need for a technology overhaul to keep up with current trends and to remain ahead of the curve.

Client required an updated ecommerce platform for its current online store.
With many visitors now visiting the online store via mobile devices, the Client recognized the importance of having a specific presence in this space to accommodate customers who are on the go.
Upgrade the site’s current look, provide better navigation, functionality and overall ease of use when searching for information and products.

Magento’s community edition was used as the base ecommerce platform due to its very low cost of ownership, boundless extensibility and scalability for the Client.
The overall website’s design and user experience was enhanced to more accurately reflect the Salon’s brand and personality.
A responsive design framework was used to effectively reach users across the desktop, tablet and mobile devices and screens.
Extend Magento functionality to more elegantly present their product catalog to improve conversion.
Improve management capabilities in the backend for in-house sales and marketing teams to manage the products, site’s content, promotions and marketing initiatives.
