SugarCRM based platform that allows customers to login, view the insurance policy details, claims, receipts, request change in the policy etc.

  • A large insurance broker in Europe deals with various types of insurance i.e. auto, health, corporate etc. It also has presence in several other countries in Europe and outside as well.
  • Client wanted to have a system which allows the customers to login, view the insurance policy details, claims, receipts, request change in the policy etc.
  • The completed system should have a workflow management system for internal support team to address the customer requests.
  • The system also required integration with the existing legacy application.
  • Provided the solution based on SugarCRM platform which helped in accelerating the speed of development. It also helped in over the years and fitted perfectly to what the customer needed.
  • The solution increased efficiency of the customer support team resulting into greater customer satisfaction.
  • The customers and internal support team members get a login id and password in SugarCRM and can login to view their policies, claims etc.
  • A custom module built in SugarCRM connects to the legacy system (web-services) and fetches the relevant data.
  • For each of these customer requests, a collaborative thread of communication is maintained between customer and customer support team. Once the request is approved, the legacy system is updated with the new information automatically.
  • The system also has a dashboard for each user displaying various reports in interactive graphical format.
