  • The client located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is in the family amusement industry providing attractions such asgo kart tracks, roller coasters, themed miniature golf courses, bumper cars and much more.
  • The client was looking to replace their current DOS based POS system with a web based system to handle all their operational needs and data management.
  • The lack of consistency between the POS systems in the ticketing, food and merchandise areas of the parks was stifling progress on more aggressive initiatives and was become expensive to maintain alongside park growth.
  • The current DOS system cannot communicate from one line of business to another and the software often crashes easily
  • It is too time consuming to get insights and answers about the park using the current system.
  • It is labor intensive task to get the centralized information about each cash counters available in park and the sales they are generating.
  • It is extremely difficult to make any corrections, changes and adjustments with the current DOS system which often leads to inaccurate data and reports on sales and revenues and the overall performance of the park.
  • Its also impossible to understand how a customer spends throughout the facility with the current system.
  • Create a secure role and permission based access control system with enhanced security features.
  • Provide detailed financial and sales reporting tools.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly company data visually aggregated into single dashboard.
  • The client needed a centralized system from where Park owner can check the transactions for each cash counter.
  • The end solution needs to be integrated with the clients debit card web based system without affecting the current setup of debit card web based system.
  • The completed web-based solution assisted in the client in consolidating all their company, staff, sales and product information into a single system and in one centralized location.
  • By consolidating all of the parks information, it allowed the client to improve operations, efficiency, reduce costs and significantly increase salesand capture the valuable data needed to make profitable business decisions.
  • With the fully integrated solution developed by our team the client was able to:
    • Identify ways to save time and money throughout the operation.
    • Manage everything through one, easy-to-use system.
    • Create role based access hierarchy for Managers and Staffs to reduce the owners overhead of managing every transaction.
    • Visualize a clearer picture of more selling product lines, products and counters.

  • Provided a graphical user interface that can be configured easily to meet the needs of the client.
  • Security levels are user-defined by administrator so that different employees can access different parts of the software with their unique ID
  • System stability was achieved by using the latest software tools and uses MySQL as its backend database.
  • Integrated the clients debit card web based system with new POS web based system without affecting the existing setup for staffs.
